Dear
Campers,
The crew and I extend a warm welcome to Middlewood Scout Camp, 'your
campsite'. We hope you have an enjoyable time and find both the
site and its facilities to your liking.
Please feel free at any time to ask the camp crew for any advice or
assistance, you never know, we may have tucked away somewhere the very
thing you need, (or have forgotten to bring). You are especially welcome
to join us in the Warden's accommodation for a drink and a chat after
the Flag Break & Scouts Own service held on the Flag Green on Sunday
morning.
Our camp rules are simple:
Respect the Site. Keep it tidy and safe and protect
the woodland from damage. It has been used as a Scout Camp for over
50 years and we wish to protect it for future users.
and, as importantly:
Respect each other. Be friendly and courteous and respect
other's right to privacy.
Additional information for Camp and
Event organisers can be found here
If you are reasonably local, have you thought about using the camp during
the week, for the occasional outdoor Pack or Troop meeting? We have
a good stock of pioneering equipment available by arrangement, an activity
especially difficult to carry out in many HQ's.
We hope you enjoy your visit. If you do, please tell others, if you
don't please tell us. This is your camp and your views, comments and
suggestions are always welcome. Please make them known.
Good Camping,
Phil Rigby,
Camp Warden.
